• Oliver Nicoll

    Oliver began his career at Long Harbour, a UK fund manager active in multifamily housing and renewables, part-owned by CK Hutchison. He subsequently led research for APIP, a Hong Kong-based investment group with operations in Mongolia and Myanmar. Oliver left to work on behalf of the Paul Tudor Jones Family Office and Milton Group on impact-led projects in Mozambique and Rwanda. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.

  • Lois Salem

    Lois works with businesses to articulate and implement impact strategies, both social and environmental. She co-scaled Longevity Partners as COO, growing it into Europe’s largest independent ESG consultancy, with a team of over one hundred people in nine offices, covering forty countries. Her interest in the developing world has included time in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Latin America. Lois completed her undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies at the University of Cambridge.

  • Adrien Deniau

    Adrien advises on the development of hospitality and real estate projects, primarily in East and Southeast Asia. He formerly led the research and feasibility department of Horwath HTL Health and Wellness, based in Bangkok. Asides a keen interest in sustainable tourism, Adrien co-founded a technology-focused investment advisory business with a Hong Kong family office. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at McGill University and ESSEC Business School.

  • Sophia Watkins

    Sophia works with businesses to strengthen climate strategies through internal capacity building and external impact and financial communication. She founded two startups in education and ecosystem services in Brazil and supports the teams at Opportunity International and Walking Softer. Sophia’s research interests focus on land-use change measurability, climate finance and carbon markets. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Harvard University and the University of Oxford.

  • Andrew Hayley

    Andrew joined Balnagowan Capital in 2022 from Barclays Investment Bank, where he worked on leveraged buyouts, recapitalisations and high yield debt financings across Europe. He began his career on the Asia desk at S-RM, a political risk consultancy in London. Asides professional experience in the UK and Japan, Andrew spent two years studying Mandarin in Chengdu and Beijing. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Oxford.

  • Sophie Kapoor

    Sophie is an English qualified solicitor with over 10 years’ experience gained at international law firms and as inhouse counsel. She has acted for international energy companies, public sector clients, contractors, and operators across the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Sophie is passionate about addressing the energy trilemma in areas of carbon capture, bioenergy and hydrogen. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford and the University of Law.
